Five couples from the west coast met at the Gray's house to enjoy an Irish meal. We served soda bread with salmon and Irish cheese for appetizer, Irish stew, potato coleslaw, soda bread, and desert of an Irish apple pie. We served Washington wines and Irish beer (Guinness) and tasted Irish Cream, Bushmill's (honey variety) and finished with Irish Cream decaf coffee
The decoration fare was green, yellow and white (colors of the Irish flag) and the men donned Irish beer felt hats and the ladies had green glasses that blinked with colored lights.
Everyone had a chance to meet everyone and are looking forward to meeting the east coast gang when we depart Newark for Ireland in September.
